So it's fixed now!

I had some connections to get that clutch bracket welded, so last friday I had her patched up. I am going to install it this afternoon because it's in the 40's, then adjust the clutch to make sure the engagement point and disengagement point are safe, and were I want them. So here is what I have done so far!

This is what the whole assembly looks like.

It's not a perfect weld, but the guy used $28 rods.

In this picture and the next you can see I added a brace, so in the future it should stay strong.

After I got done putting all parts back on the clutch bracket, you can see I only had 1/16" and 1/32" of an inch on each side of the brace. I am the happiest man on earth, cause I just eyed it. If it were different I would have to do some grinding for all the parts to fit.

Some of the welding. Sorry you can't see the details. lol.

Some of my favorite 6's

This is a pretty extreme body kit, I have mixed feelings about it...

Some Pictures

A couple of pictures of my car in the barn. As you can see there is some rust that I will be removing. I'm thinking about taking as much of my car apart while it's in storage, that'a way I can fix all that is needed while it's still not in use. I will keep an update of my projects.

It's Broken

This is the latest problem with my car, the clutch assembly is completely busted. I am going to bend a custom bracket that I will have welded in to give it more support. It was pretty easy to remove, maybe 20 mins. I found this broken when I went to adjust my clutch, I guess I'm lucky. A guy from 6Club said the dealership wanted $120 for the new Bracket, and $230 for labor. That's crazy, I have people who can weld this up like new. Never go with stealership unless you are under warranty.
